How old were you when you were diagnosed with hypertension?

I was diagnosed at age 19, I take a lot of medication to control it, I excersize, eat very healthy and yes it does run in my family, m ydad died at 35 of a heart attack but he was relly unhealthy. I’m just wondering how many other people have this problem at such a young age?

Mine is due to being overweight and not exercising, even though I’m fairly young (20’s)

Not diagnosed with hypertension but there are alot of helpful resources for this from your local library, then there is Web MD and Medical Times to name a few that can help with the recover of this diagnosis.

i have an 8 year old son whom has hypertension as a result of iga nephropathy a very rare condition. he also has a family history of it.
