Polygraph tests are only really as reliable as the person administering the test.

Your vitals are measured for a ‘baseline’ reading before the actual polygraph. The skilled polygraph administrator will be able to determine this baseline regardless of medical conditions.

The workaround, of course, is that if your body produces the same stress reaction to EVERY question, the polygraph is unreliable.

Not reliable in court, anyway. I think it is relatively flawed.

That has nothing to do with the polygraph.

It’s based on changes in your pulse/heartbeat, breathing and other bodily reactions.

Nerves and medical conditions don’t effect the result.
