Good morning Snizz. Well it is for me anyway.
I know as much as you do I’m afraid. Take a pill and all should be well as long as you look after yourself. I don’t know the hows or whys.
I hope all is well for you.

It usually thins the blood which helps it to flow easier around the body. This means that the heart is not under so much pressure to pump blood around the body and therefore the blood pressure is lowered.

There are several hypertension pills. Each drug has its own side effects and drug interactions. Which one do you take? Here this site has information on several hypertension drugs see they have information about the drug that you have been taking

Hypertension is the constriction of the veins and arteries. The pill you take is probably Cumin. It thins the blood and allows the flow to be constant. You bleed a lot if you cut yourself, right?

There are a bunch of different drugs that treat HTN, and they can work in different ways.
Some work by decreasing the amount of fluid in your body.
Some increase the diameter of your blood vessels.
Some inhibit the renin-angiotensin system.
Some slow the heart down and/or decrease it’s pumping strength.
Some pills are a combination of two different medications that work well together.
Antihypertensive medications are NOT blood thinners. Those decrease clotting, and do not affect blood pressure.
I’m glad you have a medication that works well for you. Controlling your blood pressure will decrease your risk of heart attack and stroke.
