Chronic hypertension and sex in pregnancy?

I have chronic hypertension and am 19 weeks pregnant. I am being treated by my OB with Labetalol and procardia. Does anyone know if its safe to have sex? My husband and I haven’t done anything since I became pregnant.

    if the dr didn’t advise you not to have sex, i wouldn’t worry about it. To be safe you can always call on monday and ask your nurse. Good luck!! I am on my 19th week too!!

    I don’t know anything for sure, but I strongly recommend you asking your doctor before doing anything. It might be safe, it might. You just never know until you ask a professional. Good luck.
