    Cut back on salts and salty foods! Cut back on fried foods and high cholesterol foods. Drink plenty of water, get proper rest, stay away from caffeine (and most soft drinks)exercise, and prop those feet up when you get the chance–same as if not pregnant.

    If you have been diagnosed with pregnancy induced hypertension (PIH), the same as above but do not disregard any instructions given by your doctor.
