I just got diagnosed with hypertension thyroid and put on heart med to slow my heart down?

    Ok. I’m going to assume you mean you were diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. If this is true, than your doctor probably put you on a beta blocker medication to slow your heart rate. The specialist you may be going to is probably an endocrinologist. The physician will probably do more blood work and possibly order a thyroid scan or ultrasound.

    just a physical exam and a few blood test!! thyroid problems are easily controlled by medications worry not.

    Fierst they will give you Beta Blocker then they will perform few blood tests to make sure ur thyroid is over active, if so they will give you thyroid supressing drugs and stop betablockers. I dont see anything serious in ur case, best luck
