i am taking neobloc, on maintenance for hypertension, and after some time of use, another doctor said my heartbeat is slow and it is probably due to my medication for hypertension. i want to know if i should stop taking neobloc and risk hypertension or continue taking it at the risk of having heart problems. i have a history of heart enlargement and easily gets tired, gets rapid palpitation when tense and exhausted.

The side effects of medicines for hypertention vary depending on what the medicine is. If you are concerned about the effects of the medication you are taking, I would advise you to talk to your doctor about it rather than asking such question here. You may want to request that your doctor change your medicine; however, I wouldn’t recommend going off all medicines to treat high blood pressure because that can cause you more problems.

initial side effects of hypertension drug is hypo tension. Sudden fall in blood pressure causing you reel. After some time it will steady. One a hypertension pation, always a hypertension patient. You have to take medication regularly & frequently monitor your blood pressure.
