According to some of the books I read after finding out I had low blood sugar, hypertension may have its roots in high insulin - because insulin’s function is to open cell’s “mouths” to insert food and water. Too much insulin means the cells “eat” too much, which may lead to plaquing, which may raise one’s blood pressure.
For basic information on hypoglycemia, check out. For basic information on hyperinsulinemia, check out and search for hyperinsulinemia.

Hypertension is you have a blood pressure (blood exerted by your heart against blood vessels) above normal for example, the acceptable range is 120/80 or 130/90. Then you are Hypertensive if you are above that range but still it depends, you should know your normal BP coz some people with high BP are normal to them but not to others. Risk factors are first maybe its already in your blood coz it’s heridetary, also your age (the more u r gettin older the higher the chance of increasing BP), too much intake of salt (salt attracts water–>increasing your blood volume—>increase BP), obese people are also candidate, excessive alcohol intake and smoking—coz they are vasoconstrictor—may increase you BP, and stress (the silent killer). Watch your diet, do some exercises(esp cardio), lessen or if u can eliminate vices if u have and consult you M.D.
