    Please remember that the purpose of your education is not to give you facts, but to teach you how to find the information you need. Facts are of no value to you if you do not learn the thinking process by which one figures out how to find the facts one needs. Also, Yahoo!Answers is a dangerous place to go looking for facts, because a lot of the people that post answers here do not know what they are talking about, and many of the answers are wrong.

    So do an internet search yourself. Just type in “systole” in the search box, and click the “search” button. In just the same way, you can do a search on “diastole” and one on “hypertension.”

    That way you will get reliable information, and you won’t have people shouting, “Do your own homework” at you on Y!A.
