    Most of the time hypertension has no symptoms. That’s why it is called the “Silent Killer”. You should probably be checked out by a doctor and put on some type of medication.

    What is your systolic blood pressure? If it’s normal and you’re getting readings like 110/85, I don’t think you need to worry. Most likely you have a measurement error — those portable home blood pressure machines are notoriously inaccurate, even more so if the cuff is not sized properly.

    (Usually in hypertension you have a high systolic bp and a normal or high diastolic bp. They are virtually the same and are treated the same — low salt, exercise, antihypertensive medicines).
