My girlfriend has hypertension and she’s only 21, will she be able to live like nothing it’s going on? she’s currently on treatments (catapres) and some others.

If your girlfriend keeps her hypertension controlled, then she should be able to live a normal life. Without control it can lead to many problems such as kidney failure and stroke. Tell her to visit her doc regularly and take her meds as prescribed. She may also want to purchase a blood pressure monitor so she can check it daily.

Many people have high blood pressure which is regulated with blood pressure medication. With regular doctors visits to ensure that the medications are doing their job, and no other underlying problems, she can lead a very normal life-style.
