Ask the doctor. Generally, exercise/physical activity, low-sodium and low saturated fats (and if you smoke…QUIT) .

Take medicine if doctor suggests, do medition and diet salt free food, fruits like cucomber, card,salad amd live happily

Aside from sodium intake, try to exclude caffeinated beverages or consume them in extreme moderation as well as any other stimulants. Alcohol is another substance that is good to steer clear of with hypertension/high blood pressure.
When you dine out, ask that your food arrive at the table unseasoned….. this is the best way to control your sodium intake as restaurant food is highly seasoned with salt. This will allow you to eat more of what you want when out, yet control your dietary need.
